Sky, clouds and rocks

Every drop of Ferrarelle Sparkling begins its extraordinary journey as rainfall high above Southern Italy. It then dives deep beneath an extinct volcano. Here it embarks on a 15 km process that spans over 30 years, filtering through layers of ancient rocks.

Where the journey begins

Rain permeates the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina in Southern Italy, near Naples, and begins a slow journey underground.
Over 30 years, it travels deep beneath the surface, filtering through layers of ancient rock and gradually absorbing electrolytes.

The water’s journey

The rainwater travels over 15 kilometers through underground layers,
enriching itself with natural electrolytes, including calcium and magnesium, before meeting a source of natural CO₂.
This natural journey gives Ferrarelle Sparkling its signature sparkle and taste.

The Geyser

Finally, Ferrarelle Sparkling springs back to the surface through the spectacular geyser at Parco Sorgenti di Riardo, brimming with tiny, revitalizing bubbles.

EQ

Ferrarelle’s natural effervescence is the only one in Italy certified by the international certification body SGS.
